Andrea is a retirement planning expert and has been quoted in national publications, including the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Money, Market Watch, Kiplinger, and the Denver Post. She has been featured on the cover of Retirement Advisor Magazine, made appearances on local television news programs, and is a published author of financial planning and wealth management articles. Andrea was awarded the Philanthropic Leadership award by The Denver Foundation in recognition for her service to the philanthropic and charitable community.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Andrea is passionate about helping her clients take a comprehensive, holistic approach to managing their financial lives. It’s important to Andrea that her clients understand their financial options, embrace their plan, and feel empowered to improve their financial future. She teaches them how to create tax-efficient income through their investments, helps them protect against the risk of outliving their savings, and designs investment portfolios to achieve specific goals. She brings peace of mind and confidence to her clients through her educational, coaching approach to planning.
As a Colorado native, Andrea has close ties to the community in which she lives and works. She served on the board of directors for the Colorado chapter of the Financial Planning Association for many years, including in the positions of President and Chairperson. She is a contributor to local financial literacy initiatives, including Money Smart Week, the Jump$tart Coalition, and Denver Financial Planning Day. Andrea developed and chaired the Women of FPA of Colorado, a group designed to support and encourage women in financial services.
Andrea is an avid reader of historical fiction novels and enjoys cooking. She is originally from the small town of Limon, Colorado, where she was raised on a working farm and ranch, and she often returns home on weekends to lend a hand to the family operation. She spends her free time enjoying Colorado’s outdoor beauty with her husband, their daughter, and their miniature dachshund, Ringo.
